TRANSFIELD SERVICES TAKES DELIVERY

Transfield Services Transmission & Distribution team in Western Australia has taken delivery of three 18m Glove & Barrier EWP’s form Sherrin Equipment. SHERRIN EQUIPMENT DELIVERS FIRST WESTERN POWER UNITS

Western Power inspected the first units of their Sherrin Equipment Series 2 18m Glove and Barrier Travel Tower order in July at Sherrin Equipment’s Pinkenba premises. Western Power’s initial order with Sherrin Equipment is a result of numerous design and specification changes undertaken by Sherrin Equipment late in 2007. These changes were implemented to enable Sherrin Equipment to meet the broader specification needs of the market along with the need to manufacture a deck easily adapted to fit the complete range of truck manufacturers available in the market.

SHERRIN EQUIPMENT DELIVERS 100th EWP

Sherrin Equipment celebrated the production of its 100th unit in October, a remarkable accomplishment in such a short period of time. With production levels now at 9 units per month, it has not taken long to reach the milestone which reinforces the company’s ability to achieve guaranteed Delivery” for it’s customers.

THE NEW 13ET

Sherrin Equipment has recently secured the Australasian distribution rights to the American made Dur-A-Lift product range. This exciting announcement allows Sherrin Equipment to fast track their plans and supply their customers with a complete range of EWP’s from 10 metres through to 24 metres, available with 1 man or 2 man basket.

18GB PRODUCT LAUNCH

October has seen the official launch of the new 18GBR model which will be fitted to the 13T 4x4 truck (pictured left). The robust unit will give operators the ability to traverse through terrains that would challenge most other EWP’s in the market. Along with the advantages of a 4WD carrier, the new model also features tool cabinets and deck area as standard and is fully compliant to AS1418.10

BASKET ROTATION

Sherrin Equipment is excited to introduce basket rotation on its 18GB unit. Following a successful development phase the 110 degree (55 left and 55 right of centre) basket rotation is now available as an option on all units with a safe working load of 350 kgs!
